This Privacy Policy explains how Mega Trade Inc. (“Mega Trade”, “we”, “us”), an interstate motor carrier (USDOT 2365418, MC 810984) located at 113 Fairfield Way, Ste 106B, Bloomingdale, IL 60108, collects, uses and protects information when you visit megatrade.us, submit one of our forms, or receive text messages from us.
02Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our forms we collect:
- Contact Us: name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Request POD: company name, name, phone, email, pickup and delivery locations and dates, truck, load and reference numbers.
- Apply for Job: name, address, date of birth, phone, email, CDL details, employment history and answers about your driving record. We do not collect Social Security numbers through this website; the remaining information required for driver applications under FMCSA rules (49 CFR §391.21) is collected securely during onboarding.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, and we may use essential cookies to keep the site working.
03How we use your information
- To answer your questions and provide customer support.
- To process proof-of-delivery (POD) requests and send shipment updates.
- To review driver applications, verify qualifications and run the background, MVR and employment checks you authorize.
- To send SMS messages you have opted in to (see “Text messaging” below).
- To keep our website secure and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
05Text messaging (SMS)
If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, we may text you about the subject of that form: job application updates, shipment and POD updates, or customer support inquiries. Consent is optional and is not a condition of employment or of using our services.

06How we protect your information
Our website uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and our forms are protected against automated spam. We never ask for Social Security numbers, bank details or passwords through this website. Only staff who need your information to do their job can access it.
07How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as required by law. Driver qualification records are kept for the periods set by FMCSA regulations. Records of SMS opt-in consent (date, time, form and consent wording) are kept as proof of consent for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards.
08Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to our legal record-keeping duties, and you may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Email office@megatrade.us with any request.
09Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
